I am a 44 year old Christian, husband, father of two teenage daughters and IT Executive. I am an avid cyclist and did my first triathlon in September, 2008. Soon after that first triathlon I joined Multisport MINISTRIES and became a triathlon nut. While training and racing I thoroughly enjoy wearing the Multisport MINISTRIES uniform in all its glory to Him.
During 2009 I competed in over 15 triathlons and had phenomenal results while also losing 45lbs:
· 1st Place 40-44 Age Group - 2009 Lake of Pines Triathlon, Auburn CA.
· 2nd Place Clydesdale - 2009 Silverman 70.3, Las Vegas NV.
· 3rd Place Clydesdale - 2009 Dallas US Open, Dallas TX.
· 5th Place Clydesdale - 2009 Nautica Sprint Triathlon, Malibu CA.
· 6th Place Relay - 2009 Nautica Olympic Triathlon, Malibu CA.
My 2nd place finish at Silverman 70.3 qualified me for the 2010 Halfmax National Championship to be held in South Carolina October 2, 2010. A good showing at Nationals and I am going to ITU Long Course World Championships.
PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
IT Executive with background in Strategy, Operations, Merger Integration, Divestiture, and Transformation Consultant. Since August 2008 Scott has been Managing Director of Bender Consulting, with more than fifteen years of senior executive management experience in IT management, strategy development, operations optimization, mergers and acquisitions integration, divestiture planning, new business launch and startup operations, organization design, change management, and program management. Scott’s experience is exclusive to the high-tech industry among information technology, services, procurement, and operations roles. Scott has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Information & Communication Systems from CSU Chico, and has completed accelerated executive management coursework from University of Michigan.
When I need some down time I love to go to the mountains to camp, backpack and fly fish with family and friends.
